Do you have a small kitchen with no extra space? Come on now, there is no such thing as extra space. We will always find something to put in that space, and then it is not extra space anymore. Even if you have a large kitchen, you may still be running out of room. We never seem to have enough space for all of our “stuff” nowadays because we are always getting new “stuff” that we just HAVE to have! Kitchens are notorious for having space problems because there is always something new and exciting to add to your kitchen items.
Rather than getting rid of the old items you have, you just keep pushing them to the side and making room for more. Really, you may only use your waffle iron once a year on Christmas when the relatives come visit, but you cannot get rid of it because your mother in law gave it to you. We all have items we just have to keep so rather than getting rid of it you need to find more room in your kitchen.
At Teka Kitchen Gallery in Richmond Hill, we know you need room for more stuff.
Here are some amazing ideas to create more storage space in any kitchen:
Do Not Waste any Space
You may think you do not have any more space available for anything in your kitchen, but the specialists at Teka Kitchen Gallery believe they can find more room in any kitchen, given the chance. For example, the insides of doors and cabinets. Hang a shoe rack inside your kitchen closet door and put cleaners and other items in there to save rooms on the shelves for other things. Use the outside of the door to hang items like hand towels, large kitchen utensils, and potholders.
Hang Your Pots and Pans
Are your cabinets full of pots and pans that are not stackable and do not fit well with others? Hang them on the wall! Just install some heavy-duty coat hooks and hang your pots and pans so they are easy to find and you do not have to hurt your back digging through the cabinets every time you need one. If you do not want to put hooks in your wall, hang a pegboard and use pegs to hang them.
Use the Ends
Do not waste the ends of your cabinets or kitchen island! Hang some shelves for spices, or install a magazine rack to hold cookie sheets and cake pans. If there is enough room, you can even put another cabinet there to hold other important items.
Let Them Roll
Too many canned goods? Install some wire racks into the cabinets or pantry at an angle so your cans will roll forward as you remove them. This works great to eliminate those cans of soup and vegetables stacked up dangerously so they all fall down when you touch them.
No matter what kind of kitchen you have, our expert designers at Teka Kitchen Gallery can help you find more space. Let them amaze you with how much “extra” space they can come up with.
